:) Just not my money. That pretty much sums it up, and merges with Stephen's point. Wonder how many will be around next year...

I spent a few hours talking with companies at the Expo -- I could have moved through the gauntlet quicker but I found it hard to understand their value proposition at a glance -- I pretty much had to drag it out of each sales rep. I'm not disappointed though, I understand they are all trying to be the first to figure it out, while making money. Just not my money.

I was at the conference today and short of the news on the web, you could get a sense of what you where about to see. I saw a lot of companies that would be great to partner with or work with but in an industry that is so diluted with small companies trying to get funding and stay afloat it makes it hard to com to a buying decision on a beta service that runs the risk of going under or being bought out in the next 6-12 months. It was hard to pull out what companies really stood out with a unique product driving innovation and though leadership over those who may be riding a wave of innovation around a single point of focus. Even some of the larger companies at the show where really just there to show a presence and the smaller companies where there to say "take my card....please". It would be interesting to see how many companies are still in business or bought by this time next year. I did see some of the same companies you spoke of and think that Userplane and Corespeed have something that will stick around in some proprietary form or fashion.
